C++11: So in far future C++ may have some of the features of JVM (Java++) had long time ago. Impressive. Not really.
Recurrent pattern: Root inability to interface to X is interpreted as a weakness of X. X is bad because Root doesn't like it. Compatibility with Root is taken for the measure of quality.
